Abolish Minimum Wage

 

Wages are the price of labour. All attempts to control prices against market forces create distortions that damage wealth. The minimum wage destroys jobs and adds to the black economy.

Abolish All Transport Subsidies

 

The people who use public transport should pay the market price for their seat. There is no justification for taxing poor people to subsidise the travel of others.

Abolish Farm Subsidies

 

Huge amounts paid to large farmers in Europe keep the third world poor. Free trade in all products and between all countries is the only way to ‘fairness’ and prosperity for all.

End All Foreign Aid

 

Aid does not overcome poverty. It creates dependency and keeps thieving and murderous regimes in power.

End All Trial By Jury

 

Juries are incapable of deciding guilt or innocence effectively and should be abolished. All trials should be decided by a judge or panel of judges.

Abolish the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005

 

Nobody should lose their liberty in any way without proper charges, a trial and full appeal rights. Anything less than that provides a victory for the terrorists.

Phase Out Child benefit

 

Raising a family is a personal responsibility not a collective one. Child benefit should never be increased or extended for children already born. The benefit should be discontinued for any children born in the future.

End All Immigration Controls Into The UK

A free market should exist in people as well as goods and services. The only people who should be excluded are those who have been deported following legal process.

Everybody else should be free to come and go as they please without requirement of work permits or visas. Biometric identification should be used on entry and exit.

 

Discontinue all state benefits for anybody who has not been a continuous UK resident for 5 years

The simple solution to so called benefit tourism.

Citizenship is a different matter. Only citizens should be entitled to state benefits of any kind other than the protection of the law. Citizenship should be open to application to anybody who has lived in the country continuously for five years without any form of criminal conviction, speaks good English and has a record of employment and tax payment.

Biometric Identification for Everybody

Registration of births and deaths must be updated to include DNA. Concealment of identity or identity theft are at the heart of all crime. No free, law abiding citizen needs to conceal their identity or to try to pretend to be somebody else.

Phase Out State Pensions

It is a personal responsibility to provide for our own old age. The state pension and National Insurance scheme needs to be scrapped and replaced by a citizens pension of £500 a month for everyone over 65 who has been continuously resident in UK for 5 years and who meets all of the requirements for citizenship. The citizen’s pension is a transitional provision that should not be increased and will gradually diminish in real value over time as people put their own arrangements in place.
